There are 2 restaurants in Raddison Blu Atria Bengaluru .. One Atria Cafe and Tijouri . This time we visited Tijouri ..

Thijouri” is a cozy family restaurant where one can have a sumptuous  food along with  family and friends. Tijouri comes under the renowned Radisson Blu . A confluence of legendary Indian heritage and meticulous local craftsmanship, the restaurant boast of North Frontier Cuisine be it Indian tandoors, Tawas, haandis, and parathas etc..but there are inclusions of few South Indian dishes too. It a must-visit place for people who have an eager to try different cuisines. The economic menu gives us an additional reason to come and visit the place that also hosts an all-embracing ambiance to lighten up mood.

There are three differnt menu’s to choose from Nawab , Sultan and Maharaja . We being a vegetarian , tried the Nawab set menu .

To begin with , we were served with Shorba . There were two options in it..  Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba ( A thin broth of tomato scented with coriander and ginger ) and Mutter Pudina Shorba ( Roasted green peas broth flavored with mint and ginger ) . Piping hot , bursting with flavours .. they tasted amazing .

As part of appetizer we had … Irani Paneer Tikka …Fresh cottage cheese marinated and stuffed with nuts , fresh cream and other spices and later cooked in Indian clay pot . Dipped in green chutney , these tikkas were perfect and melt in mouth . Not spicy nor bland with a tinge of slight sweetness .

Masala Kuzhi Paniyaram – being a South Indian .. this is something i have been eating right from childhood ..yet i can never get bored of it . Served with Tomato chutney and coconut chutney , it reminded me of home .

Malai Brocolli : Florets of Broccolli marinated with cheese and spices and flavored with cardamom , saffron etc . This dish was too creamy and kind of bland . I would have preferred it without grated cheese topping . When i shared the same with Chef , he took the feedback so positively and gave us another serving as per our pref . This time it was yumm …

Last but not the lease were these evergreen Paneer Tikkas ..  juicy and fresh

Drinks to sip in between …

Following the appetizers we were served the main course which included the Roti Ki Tokri along with vegetable gravies… Dal Makhani, Kadai paneer and chef’s special Bhindi Palak Bhurjee . For me this bhindi palal bhurjee was the highlight for the day . I loved it very much and want to experiment in kitchen sometime . Palak and bhindi combination was first time for me .Creamy Dal makhani, soft and silken Paneer, perfectly cooked Naans and Kulchas ..

for the main course we also relished Dum Biryani with raita ..

After all these indulgence .. we were so stuffed that there was hardly any space left for desserts . But then .. no meal is complete without desserts . so thought of tasting chef’s special Baked Paan Yoghurt . The first spoon of it and i was like .. yumm.. .good that i didn’t skip it . Mildly sweetened , pan flavor infused , \ steamed yoghurt with a topping of caramel crumble and boondhi . What a creative twist to mishti doi ..

All in all, we had a nice family time paired with cozy ambience and lovely dinner curated by Chef Kasi and his team .Pricing is fairly reasonable for the quanity and taste .
