Diwali….the “festival of lights”, is one of the most important festivals for Indians. It is celebrated in high spirits by lighting diyas (lamps) , bursting crackers and sharing sweets and snacks with friends and relatives. This diwali lets do something different. Make it a DIY Diwali !!!

How do we feel when we do something from scratch and the end result turns just amazing …be it big or small ?? Doesn’t a big smile spread all over our face and don’t we feel so proud showing it off to every one as “I MADE THIS ..”.That’s how my daughter felt last week at BOSCH DIY Square.

DIY square at Adugodi is hosting a special diwali workshop on Diya making and other Diwali gifts on October 18 and 19.Its a perfect space for any one who loves making stuff own their own… you can take your imagination to a new level. You need not be an expert in arts and crafts to make it..even a beginner like me could make beautiful diyas.

Do-It-Yourself gifts can be customized and what better way to gift your loved ones some of the best memories you share with them. This year you could go a step further to create an exclusive gift that will be incomparable to any other by using the Dremel Glue gun by Bosch. A light, handy product that can be used by anyone, This glue gun can be used to stick anything to everything.Further, it can be used on various materials as it holds the surface strong and doesn’t drip. The Glue gun is reasonably priced and can be easily purchased online on shopping sites such as Flipkart at Rs.1900 onwards. It is also available on Snapdeal, Homeshop 18 and the Bosch Power Tools DIY Square, Bangalore.

In case you are not able to attend the workshop this is how you could make decorative Diyas and dryfruit holder at your home using Dremel Glue gun .
