I am sure most of us love sandwiches. Recipe for Tofu burji sandwich is not at all complicated and anyone can do. This sandwich doesn’t make more than 10-15 minutes to put together. Great for breakfast or to put in kids lunch box or after school snack / great tea time snack !! Grilled perfectly they taste too yummm !!!
We all know how healthy Tofu is , this sandwich is one tasty way to include it in your menu . If you like plain / doing for small kids , you can reduce spices and keep it minimal. Can make it more cheesy of for kids . If you like spicy, you can do masaledar as i have shown. Whichever way you opt .. end result is very delicious.

How to do Tofu sandwich :
- Take 200 gm firm Tofu .
- Grate / crumble tofu . I usually grate them using a grater .
- To a pan / kadai add 2-3 tbsp oil . Once oil is hot , add tsp Jeera . Let it splutter , add hing.
- Add 1 chopped onion , 2-3 nos green chilli , tsp ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2-3 mins. Let onions turn pink.
- Add 2 tomatoes and tsp salt . Cook till tomatoes are mushy .
- When the tomatoes are mushy , add 1 chopped Capsicum , tsp Haldi , tsp Red Chilli powder , tsp Dhania powder , 1/2 tsp Garam Masala and little Kasoori Methi .
- Combine everything . Sauté for a minute .
- Add grated Tofu . Mix . Cover and Cook for 2-3 minutes . Let the tofu crumbles take in flavor .
- Lastly add coriander leaves and give a mix . Our Tofu bhurji is ready .
- Take bread slice, top with tofu bhurji mix, and cover with other slice.
- Apply butter and Toast bread in a pan / a grill till golden.
- Tofu bhurji sandwich is ready . Cut into half and serve.
Tofu bhurji sandwich
Ingredients

- 1 tsp Cumin seeds / Jeera
- pinch of Hing / Asafoetida
- 1 medium size Onion , , chopped
- 2-3 nos Green chilli
- tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 no Capsicum, , chopped
- 1/2 tsp Haldi
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Dhania powder / coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Bread slice
- Butter as required to toast
