Peel off the chayote squash , cut into half vertically , de seed . Chop into small pieces
Take a pan and heat oil . Add mustard seeds , urad dal , channa dal . Let it splutter.Later add jeera , hing ,red chilli , curry leaves and green Chilli . Saute for few seconds . Let they get crisp .
Add chopped chayote squash , haldi and salt to taste . Combine .Add 1/2 cup water , cover and cook for 4-5mins.
When veggies are cooked 75 % , add rasam powder and jaggery . Combine . Cover and cook for 2-3 mins .
Lastly add grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves . Toss it un covered for 1-2 minutes till the extra water if any gets evaporated .
Seemebadanekayi palya or chow chow stir fry is ready to serve . Enjoy with rice or chapathi
