Instructions
Peel Aloo and slice them into uniform slices. The slices should be neither too thick or thin.
Place the slices in water till ready to use.
Now prepare a marination masala. In a plate , take salt to taste , red chilli powder , haldi and hing . Add very little water and make a thick paste. The paste should be like a thick chutney consistency
Drain aloo from water n apply paste to each slice. Marinate for 15 mins.
For coating. In a small plate, mix fine rava, red chili powder and salt . Mix and keep aside.
Coat each aloo slice with rava.
Heat oil for frying in a pan / tawa. Arrange the rava coated aloo slices on the pan. Drizzle 1-2 tablespoon oil , shallow fry or pan fry till golden & crisp. Cover and cook.
Cover and cook on medium flame. When one side is crisp , flip and let the other side too get crisp on low flame .
