Take a cup of Tuvar dal in a vessel . Rinse well .
Add Green Chilli , little salt ,tsp of oil and 2.5 cup of water .
Pressure cook dal for 3-4 whistles till its cooked soft . Mash it creamy .
Transferred the cooked dal to a vessel in which you would be making Dalitoye . Add salt and water as required . Adjust to the consistency , you prefer .
Simmer and boil Dalitoye well . Add curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves .
When the dalitoye has boiled well , switch off . Add few drops of lime juice . Note that lime juice is optional
Lastly , prepare a tempering . Heat Ghee . Splutter Mustard seeds , add 1-2 Red chillies ( broken ) and a big pinch of Hing . Pour the tempering over Dalitoye
Dalitoye is ready to serve . Enjoy it with some hot rice and ghee drizzled on top .
