Boil 2 cups of plain water in the pot.Add ½ tsp of turmeric, small piece of ginger, Indian Borage ( ajwain leaf )  to the boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes so that water absorbs all the beneficial properties of turmeric and herbs. Switch off and allow it to get warm a bit. Add 2 tsp honey to the kashaya, mix.
